Leinster: This week the boys in blue entertained Connacht in the RDS. From where we were it didn’t provide much entertainment, Leinster narrowly coming away with the win in the final minuets. There were a lot of mistakes from the home side on the night and things don’t look all too sturdy heading into some crunch games with a seriously diminished squad.
Man of the Match : Rhys Patchell (Cardiff No.10)
21-year-old Rhys Patchell was the star of the show when Connacht visited Arms Park on Friday night. The Welsh fly half kicked all of the blues 21 points in a near perfect performance to secure Cardiff’s first win of this season.
Connacht made a bright start with a first half try and took a one point advantage into the half. However, they failed to add to their tally in the second half and picked up their first loss this term.
