Actions of Northampton and Premiership are a Step in the Wrong Direction

As I’m sure everyone is aware, this weekend passed saw a widely publicised head injury. George North, the well-known and highly talented Northampton, Wales and Lions winger was chasing a high ball when he was upended. Fitzgerald in Line for a return

Leinster and Ireland back Luke Fitzgerald could be set to make a return to Rugby this Friday when Leinster welcome the Northampton Saints to Donnybrook for their last pre-season game.

Fitzgerald, still only 25, is on the way back from another knee problem which he picked up in March. The latest injury had the player quetioning his ability to return to playing at all.

“I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to keep playing this game,” he told Newstalk radio recently.
