Short Ramblings…

It’s probably a very good thing that we see our provinces performance to date this year as below par or substandard. Heading into tomorrows game with the Ospreys I feel in no way confident of being able to take much from the fixture(How is that good? I know right!) So far this season very little seems to have “clicked” there has very few “Champaign rugby” moments and really no point at witch you might think “Right, we will build on this and start to get some momentum going… ”

That being said, we are still shy of half way through the season. Currently sitting in 5th place in the table – that doesn’t seem to bad right? After all you only need to finish in the top 4 now right? Personally I feel tomorrows game against the Ospreys is a pretty big deal, the League hasn’t spread yet. Everyone is still within touching distance(More or less). A win tomorrow would keep us in touch, A loss would put us 10 points behind the leaders…

We are still without many of our top names obviously and I think this will impact the game greatly tomorrow. Add to this the history the Ospreys have in the RDS and you might see why I lack somewhat in optimism heading into the game. On the other hand we are still at home… the RDS is the RDS and were a pretty special club…

As always COYBIB!!
